Who Are We?We are fans of Jimmy Buffett and the trop rock music genre and lifestyle he helped establish. The club received its charter from Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. (the national organization) in December of 1995. Our club belongs to the South Region of PHIP, which is currently made up of 27 clubs. The lifestyle we live around the lake, bay, and on Galveston Island is perfectly in sync with the philosophies of a true Parrot Head and our activities tend to center around that. Our club works to raise money and collect supplies, along with donating our time and talent in support of local and national causes and charities. Since our birth in 1995, the club has grown to more than 500 members with new members joining each week. Since 2011, our club has donated over $545,000 to charities! | In 2025 alone, we did 2,665 hours of volunteer work for our community. |

Our Upcoming Events
| What's New this Month? It’s February already Y’all ~ 2026 is flying by. Lots going on this month. Kicking us off, Friday night Feb. 6th we will celebrate Valentines Day early with a Happy Hour beginning 5:00 pm at Scotty’s Pub on the Bay. Back by popular demand is the “Battle of the Sexes” game. Following up with Saturday Feb. 14th we will begin Mardi Gras with a 9:30 am street party - $5 is being requested to help with costs of supplies / entry fee into the parade. Please bring a snack to share. Bloody Mary’s, Hurricanes and Mimosas will be on hand. At 11:30 am we will begin to head to the parade lineup area. After the parade, head on down to Midtown Tavern and “Keep the Party Going” as we enjoy the music of Chris Bergeron and Rob Kent with the Band Stranded. This month we will focus our charity donations on the animals at Bay Area Pet Adoptions and Animal Alliance of Galveston County.
