Who Are We?We are fans of Jimmy Buffett and the trop rock music genre and lifestyle he helped establish. The club received its charter from Parrot Heads in Paradise, Inc. (the national organization) in December of 1995. Our club belongs to the South Region of PHIP, which is currently made up of 27 clubs. The lifestyle we live around the lake, bay, and on Galveston Island is perfectly in sync with the philosophies of a true Parrot Head and our activities tend to center around that. Our club works to raise money and collect supplies, along with donating our time and talent in support of local and national causes and charities. Since our birth in 1995, the club has grown to more than 500 members with new members joining each week. Since 2011, our club has donated over $545,000 to charities! | In 2025 alone, we did 2,665 hours of volunteer work for our community. |

| What's New this Month? May flowers are bursting into bloom as we sail into a brand-new month. The sun is shining, the music is playing, and May brings plenty of reasons to celebrate—from Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day to the granddaddy of them all, Memorial Day. It’s the perfect time to gather with friends, enjoy the outdoors, crank up those bbq grills, and soak up those good island vibes. We’re keeping the momentum going with our Riddles in the Sand 2026 donation drive. A big thank you to everyone who has already contributed—you’re the heart of what makes this club so special. As we continue collecting, we’re looking for a variety of items for raffles, auctions, and gift baskets.
